We are now open for food and drinks on the terrace and with indoor seating from Monday 17th May.

Initially after re-opening we will be running a reduced menu with daily specials.

Not wanting our chefs to get bored through lockdown they have been working on a new menu for the summer which will go live from May 17th, this will be uploaded to the website nearer the time.

Once we are able to welcome customers back inside the pub we strongly advise you pre-book for all table bookings and insist all necessary government guidelines are followed to ensure the safe operating of the pub.

Until then, unfortunately, we will be unable to take bookings for outdoor seating. Tables will be on a first come first serve basis, please feel free to phone ahead before your arrival to check availability.

Country Inn.

Whether popping in just for a drink or joining us for a lunchtime snack or evening meal, we hope you enjoy your visit.

Our philosophy is to cook real food that is unpretentious, made with great ingredients and prepared fresh for you in our kitchen. 
We use locally sourced ingredients where possible, and never knowingly GM, to produce a varied menu containing simple, yet excellent, food cooked with care and served to a high standard.

The world is our inspiration and in particular the wonderful locality of Exmoor in which we are situated!

In the quirky old bar of our CAMRA recommended pub we offer a large selection of West Country ales, local ciders & lagers, new and old world wines as well as locally produced small batch and speciality gins amongst other things (but you are just as welcome to pop in for a coffee if that’s what you desire).

Our selection of homemade food we offer ranges from traditional pub fayre to classic restaurant dishes and contemporary cuisine, as well as lighter bites and a varied selection of starters. A children’s menu is also available as well as our constantly changing selection of homemade desserts.
