WELCOME TO THIS HISTORIC
13TH CENTURY COACHING INN
From Boxing day we sadly we find ourselves having to close the doors once again, fingers are crossed it won’t be for too long this time!
Unfortunately due to the current national lockdown we are unable to welcome guests to our pub.
During this time, we will not be offering any takeaway services and will remain closed as a business, however, if you would like to enquire about accommodation for 2021 or get in contact for any other reason, please feel free to get in touch via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please keep an eye on our website and social media (facebook or instagram) for updates on when we will be re-opening again.
Here’s to a much better 2021 for everyone, best wishes and we hope to be able to welcome everyone back properly sooner rather than later,

ABOUT THE PUB
The Ship Inn, known locally as the Top Ship, is one of the oldest inns on Exmoor, with roaring log burners in the winter and a large outdoor seating area and children’s play area for the summer months. We have ample bar and restaurant space and pride ourselves in offering great service and serving a varied selection of homemade meals and snacks.
Situated in the beautiful village of Porlock surrounded on three sides by the hills of Exmoor and, on the fourth, by the sea, the Ship Inn makes a wonderful holiday destination. Whether you are after a relaxing break in our beautiful part of Somerset, or looking for something a bit more adventurous, think rugged walks, mountain biking, horse riding, paddleboarding (the list goes on), then The Top Ship will be able to help you make the most of your visit.
Pets are most welcome and on-site car parking is available.
The bed & breakfast accommodation at The Ship Inn consists of 5 centrally heated bedrooms, all en-suite, all with colour television and tea making facilities.
